Solarez Bone Dry Ultra Thin
Solarez Bone Dry Ultra Thin is an ultra-low viscosity UV-curing resin designed for applications where an exceptionally thin, crystal-clear and highly durable finish is required. Its water-like consistency allows it to penetrate deeply into threads, quills and natural materials without adding unwanted bulk. Once cured under UV light, it produces a perfectly hard, crystal-clear, tack-free ("Bone Dry") finish with outstanding durability.
What is Solarez Bone Dry Ultra Thin?
Bone Dry Ultra Thin is the thinnest UV resin in the Solarez Fly Tie range. Its ultra-low viscosity makes it ideal for sealing delicate fly bodies, quill wraps, thread heads and fine synthetic materials while preserving the natural profile of the fly. It cures within seconds under a UV lamp, remains crystal clear over time and leaves a completely dry surface with no sticky residue.

Solarez Bone Dry Ultra Thin is extremely easy to use and environmentally friendly, but it can crystallize when exposed to low temperatures for a long time. This can happen during delivery, for example, in winter, if it is left in a vehicle or in checked baggage during a flight. If this happens, the resin will appear to have become lumpy. The solution: simply heat Solarez Black Bone Dry Ultra Thin to around 35-40 C°. Heat the bottle in the microwave for a maximum of 10 seconds. Alternatively, you can place the bottle in a bowl of hot water or over a heater. Solarez Black Bone Dry Ultra Thin will then be in a perfectly intact condition and ready to use again.
