What is Semperfli Mylar Cord?
Semperfli Mylar Cord is a hollow braided Mylar tubing developed for tying realistic fly bodies with an outstanding fish-scale effect. The cross-woven structure reflects light from multiple angles, creating brilliant flashes that imitate the natural appearance of baitfish and attract predatory fish.
The tubing can be tied directly onto the hook shank or pulled over an underbody to create smooth, tapered profiles. After cutting, the braid remains stable and can easily be teased out to form lifelike tails or decorative accents.
