JMC Performer DR85BL – Premium Barbless Heavy-Duty Hook for Large Dry Flies, Nymphs and Streamers
The JMC Performer DR85BL is a premium heavy-duty barbless fly tying hook developed for anglers who demand maximum strength without compromising hook penetration. As the reinforced version of the popular DR80BL, it is an excellent choice for large dry flies, heavy nymphs, streamers and sight nymphing patterns where extra hook strength is essential.
Manufactured from premium high-carbon steel, the JMC Performer DR85BL features a Down Eye, Strong Wire construction, Standard Shank, Forged design, Black finish and a chemically sharpened barbless in-curved point. Its reinforced construction withstands powerful fish and heavy pressure while maintaining excellent penetration and dependable hook-holding performance.
Why choose the JMC Performer DR85BL?
The Performer DR85BL is designed for situations where standard hooks simply are not strong enough. Its reinforced wire construction easily handles larger flies and hard-fighting fish, while the chemically sharpened barbless in-curved point delivers exceptional penetration and secure hook holds. It is an outstanding choice for trophy trout, heavy nymphing and modern streamer fishing.
