Goddard Sedge Original is one of the most classic and recognizable dry flies for imitating adult caddisflies. Built with a densely packed deer hair body, it provides outstanding buoyancy and stability even in fast and turbulent water. This pattern rides high on the surface and often triggers aggressive strikes during active hatches.

It is a proven choice for mountain rivers where caddisflies are an important part of the fish diet.

Best for: Trout, Grayling, Chub

Ideal conditions: Caddis hatches, evening activity, fast currents.
