Booby Orange is a floating streamer designed primarily for stillwater fishing. Its characteristic buoyant eyes keep it suspended in the upper water layers, while the body produces a highly attractive action during various retrieves. The bright orange color makes it very visible and often triggers aggressive strikes from active fish.
Beyond surface and sub-surface fishing, this pattern is also extremely effective when used with sinking lines, fishing deep below the surface (countdown or slow lifting retrieves), where it behaves like a classic lure-style streamer.
Best for: Trout, Perch
Ideal conditions: Stillwaters, spring and autumn, slow retrieves or deep fishing with sinking lines.
