SIMMS AlumiBite™ Cleats (10-Pack)
SIMMS AlumiBite™ Cleats are replaceable aluminum traction cleats engineered specifically for SIMMS wading boots equipped with Vibram® rubber outsoles. Designed to provide exceptional grip on slippery rocks, uneven riverbeds and unseen underwater surfaces, they help you move with greater confidence when strong currents demand secure footing.
Unlike traditional carbide or steel studs, AlumiBite™ cleats are manufactured from corrosion-resistant aluminum that is intentionally softer than carbide. As you walk, the aluminum conforms to the microscopic texture of the rocks beneath your feet, increasing the contact area and delivering outstanding traction on smooth, slick stone. The cleats are designed to fit the predefined mounting locations found on SIMMS StreamTread™, RiverTread® and VaporTread™ outsole platforms.
Each pack contains 10 replaceable cleats, allowing you to maintain optimum traction throughout the life of your boots. Better footing means greater stability while wading, improved balance during casting and the confidence to safely explore more challenging sections of the river.
