Made from premium 2.5-layer Scale™ CORE Ripstop Nylon, the Guideline ULBC Rain Jacket offers an excellent balance between waterproof protection, breathability and packability. The fabric provides 10,000 mm waterproof protection and 5,000 g/m²/24h breathability, making it suitable for active fly fishing in changing weather conditions.
Weighing only approximately 275 g, this jacket is extremely easy to carry and can be packed into its own chest pocket. Its compact design makes it an ideal backup shell for a fly fishing backpack, sling pack or vest when rain can arrive unexpectedly during a fishing trip.
The outer fabric features an environmentally friendly PFAS-free DWR (Durable Water Repellent) treatment, helping water droplets bead up and run off the surface while supporting the performance of the waterproof membrane.
The highly articulated fit is designed specifically for anglers, providing excellent freedom of movement during casting and while moving through demanding terrain. The ergonomic construction allows natural movement without restricting casting technique or comfort.
The integrated elastic hood follows head movements while providing protection from rain, wind and insects. The front features a splash-resistant YKK AquaGuard® zipper with an internal storm flap for additional protection against moisture.
A large zipped chest pocket provides convenient storage for a fly box or frequently used accessories. The jacket also includes a Hypalon® docking station for tools and accessories, a Velcro fly patch on the shoulder and a rear hanger loop for attaching a landing net.
