Developed in collaboration with renowned streamer angler Kelly Galloup, the Averon Streamer is the industry’s first reel designed specifically for streamer fishing. Built on the proven Averon platform, the Averon Streamer has been re-engineered to deliver the performance attributes that matter most in streamer fishing. Designed for rapid line pickup and minimal line memory, the Averon Streamer features an extra-large arbor that reduces coils and promotes rapid line pickup. To further accelerate retrieval, nearly all incoming resistance has been removed—allowing the reel to spin freely and clear slack line quickly with a slap of the handle or rim. A widened spool rim and increased spool mass enhance rotational momentum and durability, ensuring dependable performance in demanding conditions. Built with the precision and reliability expected of Hardy, the Averon Streamer is crafted for anglers who fish with intent.
