Salmon flies

At the end of the week we have a nice three-day fishing trip on the iconic river Dee in Scotland for salmon fishermen. Due to the permanent lack of time, my preparation this time is under all criticism, but despite everything I managed to fill a new box with flies. Naturally, I focused on models that, from my modest experience, have proven to be catchable for the month of October on nearby rivers - Ally's Shrimp (the orange shrimp in two sizes of hooks and the same model in red) and Stoat's Tail (in three sizes of hooks - the flies with black squirrel wing, golden pheasant and silverfish topping). I added some classic Blue Charm and some Francis's also in two sizes. I also tied a new to me fly - the Crathie, named after a pool on the River Dee above Balmoral Bridge - black wing, silver holographic body and blue hackle. Most likely with the expected low river levels during this time I will be fishing mostly with these flies.

От предишните ми сьомгови трипове въпреки раздадените и подарени мухи на приятели все пак са ми останали и достатъчно читави сьомгови мухи, на които също смятам да разчитам:
