Gradac Open 2023
The Gradac Open Cup, a new competition for me, on the Gradac River in Serbia, was also successful. We were 36 participants, and we had 9 people from Bulgaria who gave their heart and soul to the competition. The river was extremely beautiful, clear and clean, with a great relief, and the surrounding nature was simply wonderful - clean and protected. The competition course was quite long, about 3.5 km, divided into three sectors - A, B and C. Wild and stocked fish were caught, mainly nymphs.
Although the sectors were quite equal, after the first run the fish became more suspicious and difficult. We ended up finishing fourth as a team, without a single capo on the team.
