C&F Streamer System Foam Insert
The C&F Streamer System Foam is a specialized interchangeable insert from the C&F Universal System Foam series, engineered specifically for storing streamers and other long-tailed fly patterns. Unlike conventional Micro Slit inserts, it features long straight slit guides that allow the hook bend to slide into position while leaving the tail completely free from compression. This keeps feathers, hair and synthetic materials in their original shape, even after extended storage.
The design is optimized for modern streamer patterns tied on single, double or articulated hooks. Hooks are securely retained while the tails remain suspended freely, preventing deformation and preserving the natural profile of every fly.
What is the Streamer System Foam?
The Streamer System Foam is part of the modular C&F Universal System. Instead of transferring individual streamers between fly boxes, the entire insert can be moved from one compatible Fly Case, System Case, Boat Box, Chest Storage or Fly Patch to another within seconds. This allows anglers to prepare dedicated streamer selections for different rivers, seasons, water conditions or target species.
To store a fly, simply insert the hook bend into the slit guide and slide it into position. Since the hook point does not repeatedly pierce the foam, durability is significantly improved while even large articulated streamers remain easy to organize and access.
