C&F Midge System Foam Insert
The C&F Midge System Foam is a specialized interchangeable insert from the C&F Universal System Foam family, designed for the efficient storage of the smallest dry flies, nymphs, emergers and midges. Its ultra-precise Micro Slit technology securely holds even the finest light-wire hooks without damaging them or allowing them to loosen over time.
One of the greatest advantages of the Midge System Foam is its intelligent layout. Each row contains 24 precision-cut Micro Slits, making it easy to organize flies by pattern and hook size. For example, one row can hold the same fly in four different hook sizes with six flies of each size, making selection on the water faster while instantly showing which sizes need replenishing after a successful day of fishing.
What is the Midge System Foam?
The Midge System Foam is the highest-capacity insert in the C&F freshwater System Foam range for small flies. It is specifically designed for hook sizes approximately #18 and smaller, where secure hook retention is critical. The precision-cut Japanese Micro Slits firmly grip fine-wire hooks while allowing repeated insertion and removal without prematurely wearing the foam.
