C&F Attractor System Foam Insert
The C&F Attractor System Foam is a replaceable foam insert from the C&F Universal System Foam series, specifically designed for storing large attractor flies, long-shank nymphs and bulky fly patterns. Its extended Micro Slit design keeps every fly securely in place while preventing hooks and materials from tangling with one another.
Compatible with every product in the C&F Universal System, the insert can be transferred from one fly box or storage system to another in seconds—without moving individual flies. This modular concept is one of the defining innovations behind C&F Design and allows anglers to build fly collections for different rivers, seasons and fishing situations.
What is Attractor System Foam?
Unlike standard Micro Slit inserts, the Attractor System Foam features considerably longer slits that comfortably accommodate flies tied on long-shank hooks. It is particularly suitable for attractor patterns, large stonefly nymphs, salmon fly nymphs and other heavily dressed flies that are difficult to organize in conventional fly boxes.
The hook bend can be inserted at different depths inside the Micro Slit foam, allowing bulky materials beneath the hook to remain free from compression and helping flies retain their original shape even after long periods of storage.
