Very suitable material for making large streamers. It is Icelandic sheep fur and with a bristle length of around 15cm it is very suitable for pike streamers, all saltwater predators as well as some longer salmon flies such as the Sunray Shadow for example. The coat is soft, fluffy, creates a very good fly profile and has a very nice play in the water. Naturally, it is very well combined with various flash materials. The material is semi-transparent in water (translucent), and does not retain water when casting. Without the need to build up a lot of material, a good volume is formed on the fly and, like the arctic fox, when tying, it does not build up on the shoulder of the hook.
