For all types of fishing and applications where less stretch is desired and a little more rigidity can be accepted. STROFT LS is also characterized by the highest tensile strengths that have ever been achieved in a monofilament.
The STROFT LS was developed on the basis of a new polyamide alloy. The focus of the tuning is on reducing stretch while at the same time ensuring the highest possible tensile strengths. This is what the abbreviation LS (for Low Stretch) stands for. The "Stretch properties" diagram (see catalog under STROFT LS) shows a breaking stretch (at 100% line load) of approx. 17% for STROFT LS (curve in purple). This is significantly lower than for other polyamide lines or fluorocarbon lines.
