BFC Discovery DT Fly Line
The BFC Discovery DT is a versatile floating fly line featuring a classic Double Taper (DT) design, developed for anglers who value precise presentations, exceptional line control, and smooth casting at short to medium distances. Its perfectly symmetrical taper loads the rod progressively, making delicate presentations effortless while providing outstanding accuracy with dry flies, nymphs, and traditional wet flies.
The line is built on a braided nylon core and coated with a durable PVC formulation containing hollow glass microspheres for excellent flotation. Its smooth, gradual taper enhances casting stability and allows subtle fly presentations to wary trout and grayling. With a total length of 100 ft (30.5 m), the Discovery DT is suitable for a wide range of freshwater fly fishing situations. One of the greatest advantages of the Double Taper profile is that the line can simply be reversed when one end becomes worn, effectively doubling its service life.
