Klinkhamer Tan

Klinkhamer Tan is a classic and highly effective “hanging emerger” dry fly designed to imitate insects in the process of hatching. Its distinctive curved hook allows the fly to sit partially in the surface film, creating a very natural silhouette that often triggers strikes from selective fish. The tan (brownish-beige) colour makes it an excellent choice for matching lighter mayflies and mixed insect activity. It performs especially well when targeting trout and grayling in clear mountain rivers.
