Fasna Squirrel Dubbing
Fasna Squirrel Dubbing is a premium natural dubbing made from 100% pure squirrel fur, developed for fly tyers seeking maximum realism and a naturally textured finish. The combination of fine underfur and longer Guard hairs (protective fibres) creates lifelike bodies with a subtle Buggy profile.
The fur is processed using a gentle method that preserves its natural elasticity, matte appearance and fibre length. This allows the dubbing to twist evenly onto the tying thread while offering excellent control over body shape and density.
Fasna Squirrel Dubbing performs equally well with traditional dubbing techniques as well as Dubbing Loop and Split Thread. After light brushing, the exposed Guard hairs create additional movement and a highly natural silhouette.
It is an excellent choice for realistic nymphs, Czech Nymphs, French Nymphs, emergers and wet flies where natural appearance is more important than bright colours or synthetic flash.
