The Guideline Presentation+ WF is the new generation of one of Guideline’s most successful and recognizable fly lines. The original Presentation was introduced in 2002 and became a long-term bestseller among fly anglers who value accuracy, delicate presentation, and controlled casting more than maximum distance.
Presentation+ keeps the proven concept of the original model while introducing important construction improvements – increased diameter in the handling and running sections, which provides better balance during turnover and a more stable flight profile. This allows anglers to carry more line outside the rod tip with excellent control, without the unstable “hinge” feeling often associated with shorter-headed fly lines.
Taper Design
The Presentation+ WF features a compact WF profile with concentrated weight toward the rear of the head, allowing easy rod loading even with limited line outside the rod tip. The short rear taper and compressed belly make the line fast and responsive, while the long front taper provides a smooth energy transfer to the leader.
This combination makes Presentation+ an excellent choice for dry fly fishing with standard and long leaders while still providing enough power in WF5 and WF6 sizes for heavier nymphs and streamers.
The rear-weighted design also makes Presentation+ an excellent line for different switch casting techniques. The compact head performs exceptionally well when casting from tight positions where longer-headed fly lines can become difficult to manage.
