Loon Dust Dry Fly Powder Floatant
Loon Dust is a high-quality powder floatant for dry flies, designed for precise application on delicate patterns, CDC feathers, and fine fly tying materials. The integrated brush allows controlled treatment of specific areas of the fly.
The powder improves dry fly buoyancy and helps flies remain stable on the water surface. Unlike gel floatants, it does not easily clump fine fibers, making it especially suitable for small dry flies, emergers, and CDC patterns.
In addition to its use as a dry fly floatant, Loon Dust can also be used to create a realistic air bubble effect around nymphs, imitating the natural appearance of emerging insects. It can also be applied to fly lines to help improve buoyancy.

TIP FROM FlyFishing.bgWith small dry flies and CDC patterns, excessive floatant can often be a disadvantage. Powder products like Loon Dust provide much finer control and help preserve the natural behavior of the fly on the water. |
