This is 100% pure squirrel dubbing, hand trimmed only to preserve the long "guard hairs" which if processed by machine would be damaged. The blending process is also done by hand using only compressed air, allowing the fibers to be perfectly blended and overall maintaining their shine and length. This dub is obtained by mixing red, gray and pine squirrel for a fantastic natural color base, which Fasna also dyes in some natural colors. It can be used in all your patterns such as dry flies, emergers and nymphs.
