Nesting Hair Stacker Micro
Nesting Hair Stacker Micro is a high-precision hair and fiber stacker designed specifically for working with the finest materials when tying small and technical artificial flies. Developed by master fly tyer Barry Ord Clarke (The Feather Bender) in collaboration with 54 Dean Street, this compact tool is designed for accurately aligning small bundles of fibers when traditional stackers are too large.
The Micro version is the smallest model in the Nesting Hair Stacker series and was created specifically for fine tails and wings on dry flies. It allows perfect alignment of materials such as rooster hackle fibers, Coq de Leon fibers, and other delicate materials where absolute symmetry is important.
The body is manufactured from high-quality aluminium with an anodized anti-static finish, reducing the attraction of fine fibers and making it easier to remove perfectly aligned material. The compact internal diameter and refined construction are optimized for working with small quantities of delicate materials.
Thanks to the smooth chamfered opening and carefully designed internal shape, inserting and removing fibers is simple and controlled. The Nesting Hair Stacker Micro is part of a unique nesting system where different sizes can be stored inside each other, similar to traditional nesting dolls, making storage and transport easier.
