The tinsel is made of metal fiber and synthetic polymers, suitable for streamlining artificial flies. The fineness of the holographic lamella is 133dtex. Its typical properties are a flat cross-section of the fiber, a holographic gloss and, despite the very small thickness of the fiber, it is characterized by a very high tensile strength and does not lose its natural gloss or color when tightened. The tinsel is suitable for creating an irritating point on the so-called tip, or ringing, as well as the entire body of the fly.
