What is Hends Body Glass?
Hends Body Glass is designed for tying transparent fly bodies with remarkable depth and realism. Wrapped over a coloured underbody, it creates the distinctive glass-like effect that gives fly patterns a natural translucent appearance, closely resembling many aquatic insects.
The material can be used on its own or in combination with coloured tying threads, dubbing, Body Quill and UV resin. Its transparency makes it possible to create a wide variety of body colours simply by changing the colour of the underlying layer.
