FlyBox Edge Brite
FlyBox Edge Brite is an innovative synthetic film that gathers light across its surface and concentrates it along the edge, producing a striking neon glow. Cut into narrow strips, it creates brilliant luminous edges on bodies, ribbing, shellbacks and other fly tying elements, dramatically increasing the visibility of artificial flies underwater.

What is FlyBox Edge Brite?
FlyBox Edge Brite works in a similar way to an optical fibre by collecting ambient light through its surface and directing it to the edge of the material. The result is a vivid fluorescent outline that cannot be achieved with conventional tinsel or coloured film.
The material can be cut into strips of any desired width, making it suitable for a wide range of fly patterns. It is especially effective when wrapped over a base of silver flat tinsel or holographic tinsel, where the reflective underbody amplifies the edge-glow effect and creates exceptional underwater visibility.
FlyBox Edge Brite is ideal for tying nymphs, wet flies, streamers, saltwater patterns and attractor flies where bright visual triggers can encourage more strikes, even in stained water or low-light conditions.
