The C&F Threader System Foam is a specialized interchangeable insert from the C&F Universal System Foam series, developed specifically for storing and organizing small flies tied on hooks with tiny hook eyes. In addition to C&F's precision Micro Slit Foam, the insert features an integrated Threader Holder that keeps threaders ready for quick and effortless fly changes on the water.
Your most frequently used flies can remain permanently mounted on the threaders, allowing you to change flies in seconds without struggling to thread fine tippets through miniature hook eyes. This makes the system especially valuable for fishing midge patterns and other very small flies under challenging conditions.
What is the Threader System Foam?
The Threader System Foam is part of the modular C&F Universal System. Like every insert in the series, it can be transferred in seconds between compatible Fly Cases, System Cases, Boat Boxes, Chest Storage systems and Fly Patches.
Its unique feature is the integrated Threader Holder. During a fly change, the threader remains secured inside the insert—simply lift the holder, pass your tippet through the threader, and remove the fly. Every size includes five genuine C&F Threaders, while the Medium and Large versions also feature additional Micro Slit Foam for storing extra flies.
